Welcome to the home of competitive academics in the state of Vermont. Since the 1983-84 school year, the Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl has been challenging teams of high school students to show their smarts in a fast-paced question-and-answer format.

CHAMPLAIN VALLEY UNION HS: 2023-24 STATE CHAMPION

The A team from Champlain Valley Union High School swept through the playoff brackets in January and April to secure the 2023-24 Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl state championship..

Hanover Secures SPOT Crown as 24-25 Season Starts
The 2024-25 Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl season got underway at Essex High School on September 28th and the Hanover A team scored a pair of nail-biting in the last two rounds to secure the championship. Hanover A finished the day with a 10-0 record, but it needed overtime to edge Essex A, 340-330, in the semifinals before wrapping up the title with a 300-285 victory over Champlain Valley A in the championship match. CVU, which also pushed Hanover A in a 295-245 preliminary match, finished 8-2 in claiming second while Hanover B topped Essex in the third-place match. Full Tournament Results
