Welcome to the home of competitive academics in the state of Vermont. Since the 1983-84 school year, the Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl has been challenging teams of high school students to show their smarts in a fast-paced question-and-answer format.

CHAMPLAIN VALLEY UNION HS: 2023-24 STATE CHAMPION

The A team from Champlain Valley Union High School swept through the playoff brackets in January and April to secure the 2023-24 Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl state championship..

CVU, Hanover Claim Top Spots at First Regionals
The first regional competitions of the Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl season took place on November 12th and 15th, with 18 teams from 12 schools competing in tournaments in St. Albans and Barre. CVU swept through the eight-team Franklin Regional, defeating runner-up BFA-St. Albans 290-140 in the deciding match. BFA-Fairfax C joined BFA-St. Albans A in finishing 4-1. Hanover also went 5-0 to take the top division in the 12-team Central Vermont regional. Essex A placed second and Burlington was third in top bracket while St. Johnsbury went 5-0 to lead the second bracket. Franklin Regional Results Central Vermont Regional Results
