ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. -- The Sue Pasco Opening Tournament provided excitement right to the finish as the 2006-2007 season got started Sept. 30 at Essex High School.
Hanover and Champlain Valley went into their final-round playoff matchup with perfect 9-0 records, and the Marauders held on for a 110-90 victory that gave them the title and the pick of the ceremonial candy prizes.
